Two months after his death, the longtime Hidden Hills estate of Dodgers sports icon Vin Scully has officially hit the market. Spanning nearly two full acres atop Ashley Ridge, arguably the most prestigious neighborhood pocket of Hidden Hills, the sumptuous property contains a two-story main house, plus a detached guesthouse, full-size tennis court, infinity-edge swimming pool, grassy lawns and putting greens. Altogether, the estate offers more than 11,000 square feet of living space.

All that extravagance will set a buyer back to the tune of $15 million, though that’s a relatively modest jump over the $12.4 million Scully originally paid for the property, way back in 2009. Built in 2003, the massive home is styled as a “Country French Chateau,” per the listing, and features a substantial motorcourt in addition to dedicated garage bays for six cars.

Inside, grand living spaces include a formal living room with a vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace, a wet bar with marble countertops and a wood-paneled library with another huge fireplace. The glitzy dining room has vibrantly red walls and a crystal chandelier, while the adjoining family room features another wet bar and fireplace.

Pocketing doors open to an outdoor kitchen and covered outdoor living room with yet another fireplace, while the indoor kitchen flaunts two massive islands and a full designer kit of premium stainless steel appliances. There’s also a walk-in pantry, a powder room with animal-themed wallpaper, a guest wing and a brocade-draped movie theater. The upstairs master suite includes a vast bedroom with built-in bookshelves and a private terrace, complete with views over the resort-themed grounds.

Though he was arguably one of Hidden Hills’ most famous residents, Scully was long known as just “Vinny” to his nearest neighbors, and lived a quiet life in the equestrian-oriented gated community. The New York native and his late wife Sandi, who died last year, could often be seen on their frequent walks within the secluded enclave.
