A Kmart shopper has shared her unbelievable bathroom transformation using a bargain $15 buy.

Posting on a popular Facebook page, the home owner revealed how she created an all-new look using Kmart’s Marble Look 8-Pack Vinyl Floor Tiles.

The self-adhesive tiles do not require grouting and cementing, and Kmart says they are perfect for kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms.

The Kmart shopper said she also used tile and laminate paint to overhaul the shower area and vanity unit.

“The things you do while home sick and ‘resting’. I rested while the paint and grout were drying!” she wrote on the Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia page.

Describing her process in detail, she added: “I used pale grey grout to seal edges, no the floors (are) not slippery, no different to tiles.

“I used White Knight Primer and Tile/Laminate Paint to paint shower feature tiles and vanity.

“I have only hand wiped the tiles at the moment to clean up grout . A quick sweep and damp should keep the floor clean.”

Many Kmart fans were blown away by the transformation.

“Looks like a completely different bathroom. Amazing,” said one.

Added another: “OMG, looks fabulous!”

A third wrote: “Wow you really transformed the space, looks so modern now. Well done!”
