THE annual Totally Locally Fiver Fest got underway in Lyme Regis over the weekend, with plenty of bargains to be had. 

Shoppers can take advantage of special £5 deals being offered by a wide range of participating businesses, up until October 22.

A concept initiated by grassroots organisation Totally Locally, Fiver Fest aims to encourage shoppers to support their local high street and independent businesses, therefore boosting the local economy.

If every adult in Lyme Regis spent just £5 a week in their local independent shops and businesses, it would boost the economy by £700,000 a year.

Businesses currently offering special £5 deals are as follows:
